Davide Baldini
Attorney-at-law, double degree PhD Candidate at the Universities of Florence and Maastricht, certified DPO at Maastricht University (ECPC-B), Lead Auditor and Consultant for the CSA Code of Conduct for GDPR Compliance, Implementer and Auditor for the Europrivacy Certification Scheme. Davide advises clients in the data protection, AI regulation and TMT fields, and participates in national and international research projects.
Lawyer of the Florence Bar and Partner at ICT Legal Consulting, he provides consultancy on personal data protection, AI Law, TMT and IT contracts to multinational companies and innovative start-ups. He obtained the DPO certification (ECPC-B) issued by Maastricht University and is a certified auditor for the Cloud Security Alliance Code of Conduct and for the Europrivacy certification scheme. He held the position of research fellow at the University of Florence from May 2021 to October 2022, conducting research activities related to profiling and automated decision-making under the GDPR. He is now PhD Candidate in European and Transnational Legal Studies at Florence and Maastricht Universities (double degree), where he conducts research in the field of artificial intelligence, human oversight and algorithmic discrimination.
